Perstorp taking full ownership
The Project Air concept will now be further strengthened by integrating the installed process sections more into Perstorp’s existing production organization and site. Perstorp will as a result of this be the sole part in the project, and will include the electrolysis plant in its scope. Perstorp and Uniper have therefore agreed that Perstorp will take full ownership of Project Air, following a transition period of three months. This change will not affect the timeline or overall objective of the project.
“During ongoing FEED-studies, it became evident that it is more efficient to integrate also the electrolyzer into Perstorp´s operations. We have therefore come to the joint decision with Uniper to take over their part in the project”, comments Håkan Kihlberg, Vice President Strategic Projects and Processes at Perstorp.
